Chicago Bulls announce 2010-11 TV schedule

The Chicago Bulls today announced their television broadcast schedule for the 2010-11 season, with Comcast SportsNet and WGN-TV/WCIU overseeing all local television duties. All 82 regular season games will be televised, as well as all eight preseason games. Hawks’ Crawford looking for extension

Atlanta Hawks guard Jamal Crawford tallied up 18 points, 2.5 rebounds, and three assists per game last year in his first season with the team. He and his agent would like an extension past this season when his contract is due to run out, according to the Boston Globe. His agent is meeting with general manager Rick Sund this week to discuss the possibility of an extension, the paper reports, in hopes of having him securely on a payroll when next season is scheduled to begin and the collective bargaining agreement is still in question.

Bulls to honour Pippen with statue

Seven-time All-Star, six-time World Champion and 2010 NBA Hall of Fame inductee Scottie Pippen will be honoured by the Chicago Bulls with a statue outside the United Center next season, the team announced on Wednesday.
